Brandon Allen
Brandon Allen Gets chance with Big Blue
Mon, Apr 13, 2026, 10:44 AM
Allen signed a contract with the Giants on Monday.
Analysis: Allen spent last season with the Titans and saw action in only one contest, a Week 18 loss to the Jaguars in which he completed 17 of 30 passes for 72 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. Now, he'll reunite with New York's quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator Brian Callahan while providing the team depth behind Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston.
Cam Skattebo
Cam Skattebo Attending voluntary workouts
Tue, Apr 7, 2026, 3:22 PM
Skattebo (ankle) is present for the start of voluntary workouts Tuesday, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.
Analysis: New Giants HC John Harbaugh said Tuesday that Skattebo (ankle) is ahead of WR Malik Nabers (ACL) in his rehab, and that both players are present for the start of voluntary workouts Tuesday. Per Harbaugh, it is possible Skattebo will resume handling on-field activities this spring. The 2025 fourth-round pick attended Arizona State's Pro Day in late March and was spotted jogging and running without any apparent issues. He suffered a dislocated right ankle late October and appears to tentatively be on track for the start of OTAs.
Malik Nabers
Malik Nabers Present for voluntary workouts
Tue, Apr 7, 2026, 11:43 AM
Nabers (knee) is present for the Giants' first day of voluntary workouts Tuesday.
Analysis: Nabers is progressing from ACL and meniscus tears that he suffered to his right knee in Week 4 of last season, and GM Joe Schoen said in late March that he's "hopeful" the star wide receiver will be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 campaign, per Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site. While it remains to be seen when Nabers will be ready to resume on-field drills, it's encouraging to see him in house and building familiarity with new head coach John Harbaugh's offense.
Ryan Miller
Ryan Miller Officially re-signed by G-Men
Tue, Apr 7, 2026, 9:18 AM
The Giants re-signed Miller on Tuesday.
Analysis: The 26-year-old wideout logged 13 regular-season appearances with Tampa Bay in 2025, securing two of four targets for 34 yards and a score. Miller had been claimed off waivers by the Giants in December and tendered as an exclusive rights free agent.
Cam Skattebo
Cam Skattebo Looking fully healthy
Mon, Mar 30, 2026, 7:02 PM
Skattebo attended Arizona's pro day Friday and appeared to have no lingering limitations from his right ankle surgery, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Analysis: Giants GM Joe Schoen was also in attendance for Arizona's pro day and described Skattebo as "jogging around, running, jumping on ex-teammates' backs and stuff like that." Schoen further commented that Skattebo is "declaring himself he's ready to go." Schoen said in January that Skattebo should be ready for the beginning of OTAs, and that appears to remain a genuine possibility.
Malik Nabers
Malik Nabers GM hopeful for Week 1 availability
Mon, Mar 30, 2026, 6:56 PM
Giants general manager Joe Schoen said Monday that he is "hopeful" Nabers (knee) will be ready to play by Week 1 of the upcoming campaign, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Nabers played in only four games last season, as he tore the ACL in his right knee Week 4 against the Chargers and ended the campaign on IR. Schoen said Monday that he is optimistic about the star wideout being ready to play from the get-go in the coming season, though the GM also expressed the need to be cautious. "Like I always say, we'll see," Schoen said. "As long as there's not a setback or whatever it may be, optimistic Week 1, he'll be ready. But again, you just never tell with these things and how they're going to react or if there's any setbacks. But he's in a good spot right now mentally and physically." Fantasy managers who have their sights set on Nabers will certainly look for further updates to emerge ahead of draft day.
Darnell Mooney
Darnell Mooney Set to join Giants
Sat, Mar 14, 2026, 4:55 PM
Mooney is slated to sign a one-year, $10 million contract with the Giants, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Mooney entered free agency after he was released by the Falcons on Monday, and it didn't take him long to find a new home with the Giants. He entered the 2025 season with high expectations following a productive 2024 campaign with the Falcons, when he caught 64 passes (on 106 targets) for 992 yards and five touchdowns across 16 regular-season games. Mooney failed to catch more than four passes in each of his 15 regular-season games in 2025 and finished with a 32-443-1 receiving line (on 72 targets). He figures to slide in as the Giants' WR3 behind Malik Nabers (knee) and Darius Slayton for the upcoming season.
Calvin Austin
Calvin Austin Signs one-year pact with G-Men
Thu, Mar 12, 2026, 5:06 PM
The Giants signed Austin to a one-year contract worth up to $4.5 million Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: It's a nice landing spot for Austin, in the sense there isn't a whole lot of proven competition at the wide receiver spot behind Malik Nabers (knee), as Austin looks like a current favorite to be part of the team's three-wide set alongside Malik Nabers (knee) and Darius Slayton after Wan'Dale Robinson left in free agency. Austin failed to gel with Aaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh last season, securing just 31 of 55 targets for 372 yards and three touchdowns across 14 regular-season appearances. Austin averaged 15.2 yards per catch in 2024 and offers theoretical big-play potential.
Ryan Miller
Ryan Miller Joining Big Blue
Thu, Mar 12, 2026, 11:43 AM
Miller is slated to sign with the Giants, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: The 26-year-old wideout from Furman appeared in 13 games for the Buccaneers in 2025, catching two of four targets for 34 yards and a touchdown across 328 total snaps (205 on special teams, 123 on offense). Following his deal with the Giants, Miller will likely compete for a depth spot in New York's wide receiver room ahead of the 2026 season.
Patrick Ricard
Patrick Ricard Heading to Big Apple
Tue, Mar 10, 2026, 7:26 PM
Ricard agreed to terms Tuesday on a two-year contract with the Giants, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
Analysis: Ricard spent nine years in Baltimore with head coach John Harbaugh, and the duo will reunite in New York. Ricard, who will turn 32 years old in May, is expected to be the highest-paid fullback in the league. He'll set up running lanes and serve as a veteran leader for the young Giants, who will start second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart in 2026.
Isaiah Hodgins
Isaiah Hodgins Re-signing with NYG
Mon, Mar 9, 2026, 5:48 PM
The Giants re-signed Hodgins to a one-year contract Monday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
Analysis: Hodgins was signed to the Giants' active roster in mid-November after opening the season on the Steelers' practice squad. He appeared in seven regular-season games for the Giants and finished with 10 catches (on 19 targets) for 115 yards and one touchdown. Hodgins will enter training camp in the summer competing for a spot on the Giants' 53-man roster for the 2026 season.
Theo Johnson
Theo Johnson Joined by Likely
Mon, Mar 9, 2026, 12:09 PM
Johnson (illness) faces added target competition after the Giants signed Isaiah Likely to a three-year, $40 million contract Monday, Albert Breer of SI.com reports.
Analysis: Johnson, a 2024 fourth-round pick, emerged as New York's clear top tight end in 2025 while securing 45 of 74 targets for 528 and five touchdowns across 15 regular-season appearances, but Likely's contract and familiarity with new head coach John Harbaugh make him the favorite to lead the position in pass-catching reps. That said, Johnson figures to remain in a significant role on offense and the Giants made it a priority to re-sign blocking specialist Chris Manhertz prior to the start of free agency. It won't be surprising if New York deploys a heavy rotation at right end during the 2026 season. Johnson missed the final two games of 2025 due to an illness but should be fully healthy to begin offseason activities.
Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely Signing with Giants
Mon, Mar 9, 2026, 11:58 AM
Likely is in line to sign a three-year contract with the Giants, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
Analysis: The initial report has it as a three-year, $40 million contract with a maximum value of $47.5 million. That's a good sign that the Giants envision Likely in a larger role than the one he typically handled in Baltimore, where Mark Andrews and Charlie Kolar also played a lot of snaps at tight end. That said, the Giants still have Theo Johnson on his rookie contract and recently re-signed blocking specialist Chris Manhertz, creating plenty of competition for playing time. Likely doesn't figure to handle huge snap counts even if his receiving usage expands.
Chris Manhertz
Chris Manhertz Back with Giants on one-year deal
Mon, Mar 9, 2026, 11:20 AM
Manertz is re-signing with the Giants on a one-year contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: The Giants have re-signed the veteran tight end rather than allowing Manhertz to hit free agency. He's expected to continue filling a depth role in 2026 after appearing in all 17 games during the 2025 season but contributing just one catch.
Devin Singletary
Devin Singletary Takes pay cut
Fri, Mar 6, 2026, 8:35 AM
Singletary agreed to terms Friday on a restructured contract with the Giants, converting a portion of his base salary into bonus incentives, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Analysis: Singletary had entered the offseason as a likely cut candidate, but his contract restructure makes it realistic for him to remain with New York for the 2026 campaign. That said, Cam Skattebo (ankle) and Tyrone Tracy figure to open the 2026 season above Singletary on the backfield depth chart, leaving him in the No. 3 backfield role. The 28-year-old carried the ball 118 times for 437 yards (3.7 YPC) and five touchdowns while playing all 17 regular-season contests in 2025, the least statistically efficient year of his career. He also secured 18 of 19 targets for 151 receiving yards.
Gunner Olszewski
Gunner Olszewski Staying with Giants
Thu, Mar 5, 2026, 6:37 PM
Olszewski signed a one-year deal with the Giants on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: The kick and punt returner will return to New York instead of hitting the free-agent market. Olszewski recorded 682 kickoff-return yards and 216 punt-return yards in 2025. He also caught 10 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown as a receiver.
Malik Nabers
Malik Nabers May be ready for training camp
Tue, Jan 20, 2026, 1:00 PM
Giants general manager Joe Schoen said that the team expects Nabers (ACL) to be ready for the start of training camp late July but that "things can change," Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.
Analysis: Nabers suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in his right knee Sept. 28 and underwent surgery late October. He said after New York's win over the Cowboys in Week 18, while still sporting a knee brace and using a cane, that he is targeting a return "when my body feels good" and won't play before he's fully healthy, per Dan Benton of USA Today. Nabers also refused to commit to being available Week 1 at that time. Further clarity of Nabers' estimated recovery timetable may not be available until summer, but if if the 2024 first-round pick is able to participate in the beginning of training camp it will bode well of his odds of being available to kick off the 2026 regular season. On the other hand, Benton reports that the severity of Nabers' injury could cause him to begin 2026 on the PUP list. When back to full health, Nabers will reclaim his role as the clear No. 1 target for quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Cam Skattebo
Cam Skattebo Targeting start of OTAs
Tue, Jan 20, 2026, 12:37 PM
Giants general manager Joe Schoen said Tuesday that Skattebo (ankle) should be ready for the beginning of OTAs, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.
Analysis: Skattebo is recovering from a dislocated right ankle suffered in late October, and he remains on track in his recovery, having shed his walking boot around the eight-week mark. The 2025 fourth-round pick said in early January that he expects to be ready for the start of training camp in late July, but being on the field for the beginning of OTAs around late May would represent an even better outcome. By all accounts, Skattebo appears fully on track to be able to ramp up the intensity of his on-field activity throughout the offseason and to be at 100 percent form by the start of the 2026 campaign. Across eight regular-season appearances as a rookie, Skattebo carried the ball 101 times for 410 yards (4.1 YPC) and five touchdowns. He also secured 24 of 32 targets for 207 yards and two scores.
Cam Skattebo
Cam Skattebo Out of walking boot
Fri, Jan 9, 2026, 3:04 PM
Skattebo (ankle) is on schedule in his recovery from a dislocated right ankle, having shed his walking boot after eight weeks, and he's aiming to be back by training camp if not for spring practices, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Analysis: Skattebo is now close to 10 weeks removed from his late-October ankle injury, and he's set to start "upping" his speed soon as he works to get back the dorsiflexion (upward movement) in his right foot after shedding his walking boot. The 2025 fourth-round draft pick expects to be ready by training camp in July, which would put him well on track to ramp up to full speed by the start of the 2026 campaign. Once he's healthy, Skattebo could reclaim the top spot in the Giants backfield over Tyrone Tracy.
Isaiah Hodgins
Isaiah Hodgins Shut out to conclude campaign
Tue, Jan 6, 2026, 10:58 PM
Hodgins did not catch either of his two targets in Sunday's Week 18 victory over Dallas. He finished the campaign with 10 catches on 19 targets for 115 yards and a touchdown over seven games.
Analysis: Hodgins spent training camp with San Francisco before latching on with Pittsburgh's practice squad in mid-September. He was ultimately signed by the Giants, with whom he had spent most of the previous three campaigns. Hodgins put up a solid 7-99-1 line over his final two contests upon his return but then faded dramatically, catching just three of seven targets for 16 yards over his final five games despite posting an offensive snap share north of 80 percent four times during that span. He's slated to become a free agent and may again begin next season on a practice squad somewhere in the league.
